Thanks to all for the many kind thoughts and wishes around the pork loin. I've got to tell you though, it wasn't that great. I used an un-tried and un-tested new recepie for a dry rub. It was too strong and I used WAY too much. The meat was over seasoned.I was also using Mesquite to smoke with. I HATE using mesquite because it burs so hot and the smoke is very pungent. Well, our daughter came down with a nasty case of the flu Friday night. Her fever was hanging around 101 to 102.
